The DSLHSS and the German Institute for Oriental Research in Beirut organize a workshop
A workshop for PhD students was opened at the German Institute for Oriental Research in Beirut on "Concepts, Knowledge Production and Open Research Publication", in cooperation with the Doctoral School of Literature, Humanities & Social Sciences (DSLHSS), Visiting Professor Marcus Schmitz, the Free University of Berlin and the Humboldt Institute in Berlin.
During the two-day workshop, DSLHSS Dean Professor Mohamad Mohsen emphasized that open science and open access are among the key factors that are advancing scientific research and publishing practices and changing the way we process and share scientific information.
Dean Mohsen noted that these workshops provide a rare opportunity to exchange ideas, experiences, and best practices on open science and open access, encouraging PhD students to participate in these activities.
