The FFAA and the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University participate in an academic and cultural activity
The specialized master’s Department in Landscape Planning & Natural Sites at the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture hosted twenty students from the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University/Cairo, between 23-31 July 2023, within the course “APPEL - Multidisciplinary Workshop on Landscape on a Local Scale”.
Students from both faculties shared ideas and proposals related to the “Branding Saida” project, the focus of the cooperation agreement between the Lebanese University and the Saida Municipality.
The project presents a vision for reconnecting the city of Saida with the sea and presenting a practical landscape approach strategy to reposition the city on the tourist map by highlighting its archaeological and environmental landmarks and its ability to attract local and foreign tourism.
