The Lebanese University won 5 medals in the Universities Athletics Championship
The Lebanese University won a gold medal, three silvers and a bronze medal in the Universities Athletics Championship, which was organized on 2 June 2023 at the Camille Chamoun Sports City track in Beirut.
The Lebanese University students were accompanied by the coach in the Department of Sports Activity, Ahmad Hazer, Vice President of the Universities Union.
On 3 June 2023, the Sports City track witnessed attempts to break Lebanese records organized by the "Inter Lebanon" club, under the supervision of the Lebanese Athletics Federation. During this event, Ali Mortada (Faculty of Pedagogy) was able to break the record for the 1000m race recording a time of 2,24,00 minutes.
