The Faculty of Agronomy seeks to prepare qualified human resources to support sustainable agricultural development and preserve healthy ecosystems through scientific and applied research. The Faculty contributes to rural development and community service through productive and on-field activities, to solve agricultural and environmental problems and monitor food safety.

Through this program, the engineer is trained to tackle the challenges of deforestation, biodiversity loss and climate change, and how to make decisions to log and replant trees. The student is also trained to monitor the natural environment through identifying plants and animals, preserving tree types or establishing a biological reserve, in addition to maintaining the forest to face disasters such as fires, floods, landslides, etc.
