Qatari Minister of Education Lolwah bint Rashid visits Lebanese University

Qatari Minister of Education & Higher Education Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al-Khater, headed by a delegation, visited the Doctoral School of Science & Technology at the Lebanese University / Rafik Hariri University Campus - Hadath, where she was received by President Bassam Badran and a number of deans and directors of the faculties, institutes and branches.

 

President Badran said: “We share what was proposed at the recent UNESCO conference in Paris by proposing the diplomacy of scientists as an effective means of communication between Arab countries and between peoples to achieve sustainable development for our societies.”

 

President Badran added: "We consider this day as a day of departure to achieve the noble goals that we all seek."

 

For her part, the Qatari minister gave a speech in which she expressed her happiness to be present at the Lebanese University, which has provided the Arab scientific and cultural life with many personalities.

 

She said: “We look forward to working and cooperating with the Lebanese University and increasing student exchange between the Lebanese University and other universities and between universities in the State of Qatar, in addition to exchange at the level of professors, especially since scientific research is very advanced in the Lebanese University and there are a number of centers in the State of Qatar, in addition to large areas of cooperation in this framework.”
