- PhD in Wood & Fiber Sciences from the Henri Poincaré University, France in 2010.
- Master in Molecular Chemistry, Biochemistry & Physical Chemistry from the Henri Poincaré University, France in 2007.
- Bachelor in General Chemistry from the Faculty of Science at the Lebanese University in 2006.
Professional Career
- Lecturer at the Faculty of Science (Branch 2) in 2012.
- Promoted to the rank of Professor in 2018.
- Member of the Research Master Committee in Materials Science at the Faculty of Science for several years.
- Supervisor and rapporteur for PhD dissertations and master theses at the Lebanese University and a number of French universities.
- Director of R&D in the field of bio-composites for the construction of sustainable buildings in “Greenpile-ALMOE”, France between 2013-2014.
- Research engineer in the sustainability of composite materials at the French company “INNOBAT” in 2011.
- Former lecturer at the French University of Lorraine, the Higher National College of Wood Technology & Industries, CNAM of Nancy and IMT Mines Alès.
- Author of research published in international peer-reviewed scientific journals on developing non-combustible materials, environmentally friendly building insulators, and sustainable materials.
