FFAA - Branch 1 students excel in an art exhibition on issues related to women, youth, and justice
The Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture - Branch 1 participated in an art exhibition organized at the conclusion of a collaboration and partnership project with Women Empowerment Hub (WEHUB) and Expertise France, hosted by the French Institute in Beirut.
The exhibition featured 32 artworks from various departments of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, and the projects on display reflected contemporary creative artistic visions that embodied issues of justice, equality, and the empowerment of women and youth.
After evaluating the projects, the results were as follows:
First prize: Zeina Alhoujeyri/Department of Fine Arts
Second prize: Vera Geha/Department of Fine Arts
Third prize: Melissa Awwad/Department of Fine Arts
Fourth prize: Aya Abou Ibrahim, Batoul Ghandoura, and Nadia Ayyash/Department of Interior Design
Students Alia Zgheib, Zahra Aljundi, Sara Al-Tawil, and Rayan Zhort also won honorable mentions.
Dr. Iman Moukaddam and Dr. Reem Mortada accompanied the students throughout the project's preparation and implementation stages.
