PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Cordoba, Spain in 1999.
Master's degree from the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM), Paris in 1995.
BA in Engineering from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 1992.

Lecturer at the Faculty of Science at the Lebanese University in 1999.
Promoted to the rank of professor in 2014.
Director of the Faculty of Science – Branch 2 in 2021.
Member of the Quality Assurance Committee at the Lebanese University since 2023.
Member of the International Relations Committee at the Lebanese University Presidency since 2021.
Member of the Teaching Staff Evaluation Committee at the Faculty of Science since 2022.
Coordinator of the master’s program in nutrition at the Faculty of Science – Branch 2 since 2016.
Member of the Lebanese University Council between 2017-2021.
Head of the Executive Committee of the Association of Full-Time Professors at the Lebanese University between 2016-2018.
Head of the Council of Delegates of the Association of Full-Time Professors at the Lebanese University between 2014-2016.
