- Graduate of the French Faculty of Medicine in Beirut in 1973.
- Holder of the American Board certification in pediatrics.
Professional Career
- Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the Lebanese University between 1999-2008.
- Head of the Pediatrics Department at the Faculty of Medical Sciences between 1985-1999.
- Resident physician at Jacksonville University Hospital in Florida, USA, for several years.
- Assistant/clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Florida between 1980-1983.
- Chairman of the Board of Directors of Baabda Governmental University Hospital for several years.
- Member of the Lebanese Pediatric Society for several years.
- Member of the American Academy of Pediatrics for several years.
- Member of the International Pediatric Association Foundation for several years.
- Author of research papers published in peer-reviewed international scientific journals on clinical review of children, nerve paralysis, eye muscle contraction, tracheal syndrome, and congenital heart defects.
