An architectural project by Dr. Khaled Abu Taam from the Lebanese University ranks first
The project of Dr. Khaled Abu Taam, professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture (Branch 4) won the first prize on 8 June 2021 in the international architectural competition “Ethiopian Satellite Preschool” organized by the Architectural Platform “Archstorming”. The winning project will be implemented at a later stage of this year.
The challenge of the competition is to design a sustainable school for the non-governmental organization “Abay Ethiopia” that operates in Walmara - Ethiopia with the aim of combating poverty and promoting equal opportunities by developing projects that support education and health sectors in the community.
The project team consisted of Dr. Khaled Abu Taam, Catherine Zalzali, Ali Al-Afi and Yekaterina Abu Taam.
