ERASMUS+ praises the cooperation of the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences to implement “DEMOS - Human Rights and Democracy”
ERASMUS+ program acknowledged the activity and cooperation of the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences at the Lebanese University to implement the international project “DEMOS - Human Rights and Democracy”, funded by Erasmus+ Europe and carried out in cooperation with a number of universities around the world.
The project was carried out under the supervision of the President of the Lebanese University, Professor Fouad Ayoub, and with the participation of Dr. Zainab Saad, General Coordinator of the International Relations Office at the Lebanese University, Dr. Kamil Habib, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences, and Dr. Marylin Karam.
The Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences launched the Master of Democratic Governance & Human Rights, based on the fact that DEMOS mainly aims to spread the culture of human rights and democracy.
Through this Master, the Lebanese University seeks to consolidate a culture of human rights among youth and achieve the principles of gender equality, in addition to promoting concepts of democracy, protecting community members from violence and providing a just, safe and sound life for all.
