The FLPAS - Branch 3 will represent Lebanon in the finals of the Arab Moot Court Competition next April

The team from the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences - Branch 3 has qualified for the final stage of the 12th Arab Moot Court Competition, which will be held in Oman between 5-7 April 2026.

The competition is a hypothetical case that falls within the framework of public international law with its two main branches: international human rights law and international humanitarian law.

The FLPAS team qualified as a result of its double victory with the highest scores over the Beirut Arab University team in an oral competition held on 28 January 2026, and over the Islamic University of Lebanon team in a competition held on 29 January 2026.

The faculty team consisted of students Abdul Majid Mkaihber and Dalaa Loubani (third year bachelor's degree) and Dia Jarjoura (second year bachelor's degree), while the team was supervised by researcher Dr. Mazen Chindeb, a professor at the faculty and a specialist in international law and international relations.

With this victory, the Lebanese University team will represent Lebanon in the final competition, which will be held between 5-7 April in the Sultanate of Oman, with teams representing 19 Arab countries competing.
