Graduate Asma Sarhan wins the silver medal at the Challenge and Innovation Forum (CIF) Qatar 2021 and joins the “IFIA”
Asma Sarhan, Master’s degree graduate of the Faculty of Science, won the silver medal in the “individual competition” category at the Challenge and Innovation Forum - Qatar 2021 (CIF-2021), for her project “My Safety”.
The project consists of a smart medical device that facilitates the delivery of vital signs of patients to doctors and alerts him when there is any sudden disturbance.
Asma, the only Lebanese participant in the forum, was granted membership in the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) after on meeting the conditions for affiliation with the federation.
CIF was organized in Qatar between 7-11 November 2021 and included a series of competitions, events and interactive scientific programs aimed at motivating and encouraging about one hundred participating inventors from forty countries.
