Student Boshra Moussawi represents Lebanon at the Global Peace Summit Dubai 2022
Student Boshra Moussawi represented Lebanon at the Global Peace Summit Dubai 2022 organized by the “Global Peace Chain” in Dubai between 23-26 February 2022, with the participation of peace ambassadors from all over the world.
The Global Peace Chain chose Boshra from Lebanon to attend the summit, which was a forum for peacebuilders of young leaders and social entrepreneurs to exchange ideas on their projects related to peace, innovation, human rights, and climate.
Boshra presented her project idea, which relies on the importance of teaching English to young people free of charge. She also participated with a group of students in providing solutions to the problem of climate change and proposals to improve higher education in the Middle East, in addition to proposing plans to implement the SDGs.
Boshra is pursuing her 1st year - life sciences at the Faculty of Science (Branch 1). She is an activist and volunteer in a number of local and international associations and within UN programs concerned with the implementation of the SDGs - Agenda 2030.
