Student Gaelle Ghanem selected on the list of “ASCE New Faces of Civil Engineering”
The “ASCE-American Society for Civil Engineers” selected Gaelle Ghanem from the Faculty of Engineering (5th Year Civil Engineering - Branch 2) as one of the ten new faces of 2021 in civil engineering.
The association sheds light on the achievements and innovations of young talents that reflect the hope of a promising generation of future leaders, and selects students from 4th and 5th years of civil engineering from around the world to place them on the list of “ASCE New Faces of Civil Engineering”.
On her experience in the Lebanese University, Gaelle said: “My future as an engineer will definitely be full of bad and good surprises, especially in light of the circumstances we are going through, but my country, Lebanon, deserves our best”.
The American Society for Civil Engineers (ASCE) is the largest gathering of civil engineers around the world, with members from more than 170 countries. It focuses on introducing engineers to new technology, encouraging lifelong learning, and developing leaders capable of building a bright future.
