Awareness-raising activity by the LRC at the ISS - Branch 3
The Lebanese Red Cross, in collaboration with the Institute of Social Sciences – Branch 3, organized an interactive awareness-raising activity aimed at promoting a culture of health and developing a sense of social responsibility among university students.
The activity began with a welcome speech by the Institute's Director, Dr. Wadiha El Amiouni, and a student volunteer at the Lebanese Red Cross, Carole Melhem. The speeches highlighted the students' participation in the activity and their contribution to spreading awareness and promoting knowledge in an interactive manner based on dialogue and active participation.
The program included several stations that addressed awareness about blood types, the importance of donating blood, and caring for mental and physical health.
This activity is part of a series of initiatives that seek to establish health and social awareness and enhance the role of young people as active partners in serving the community.
