The Faculty of Economics & Business Administration seeks to provide theoretical and applied programs with the aim of preparing highly qualified graduates in the fields of economics, finance, business and administration to meet the needs of the local and global market, serve the community, and encourage scientific, knowledge and entrepreneurial research.

Students of this major gain an in-depth international perspective on the role of finance and monetary policy, learn to analyze and implement the activities of international financial markets, the international trading system and the role played by international institutions such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Trade Organization (WTO).
This program includes advanced statistical software including, Eviews and SPSS, and provides students with a comprehensive set of technical and quantitative skills closely related to interstate economic and commercial transactions, economic competitiveness, and crises related to exchange rates, expenditures and public debt.
It also prepares students to interact with the modern business environment in international economics and finance and to have a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of the international economic environment and the financial field.

General conditions + special conditions
First: Admission to the first year
- Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Lebanese University - Faculty of Economics & Business Administration;
- Students of the following majors (management, marketing, management informatics, finance, accounting) who have completed the bachelor’s degree, are allowed to change to management or marketing in M1, provided they pass the CEE. They are also allowed later to apply exclusively to professional M2, and they are not allowed to apply for the research master;
- Succeeding in the Competitive Entrance Exam (CEE) for students holding a Bachelor's degree in Economics from other universities.
Second: Admission to the second year
- Students of the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration who succeed in their M1 (among the first 35%) are exempt from the CEE;
- Remaining students from inside or outside the faculty within the aforementioned specialization are subject to a CEE or conditions determined annually by the Faculty Council.
