Postgraduate Diploma in Economic Sciences from the University of Grenoble, France in 1972;
Bachelor in Political & Administrative Sciences from the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences at the Lebanese University in 1969.

Professional Career

Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration at the Lebanese University in 1977, and holder of the rank of Professor in 1985;
Dean of the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration at the Lebanese University between 1997 and 2001;
Director of the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration (Branch 1) at the Lebanese University between 1978 and 1981;
Lecturer at the Faculty of Information and the Faculty Law, Political & Administrative Sciences at the Lebanese University and the Faculty of Economics and Commerce at Beirut Arab University and the Faculty of Law, Political, Administrative & Diplomatic Sciences at the Islamic University of Lebanon;
Member of the Teaching Staff Cooperation Council at the Lebanese University between 1997 and 2000;
Participated in evaluation and arbitration committees for PhD dissertations at the Lebanese University, the Islamic University in Lebanon, Damascus University, Yarmouk University in Jordan, and Al Ain University in the United Arab Emirates;
Obtained in 1998 the "Abdul Hadi Debs Endowment Award" for Best Production in Human Sciences in Lebanon;
Author of large number of research papers and articles in the field of economics.
