Scientific Qualifications
- Diploma in Robotic Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine of Nancy/France;
- Diploma in Urology from Munich/Germany in 1996;
- MD from the University of Padua in Italy in 1988;
- Bachelor of Science from the American University of Beirut (AUB) in 1982.
Professional Career
- Lecturer at the Faculty of Medical Sciences since 2013;
- Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences since 2022;
- Founder and Director of the Stem Cell Center at the Faculty of Medical Sciences since 2021;
- Head of the Urology Department at the Faculty of Medical Sciences since 2018;
- Head of the Department of Surgery at the Faculty of Medical Sciences since 2020;
- Head of Urology Department at Al Zahraa Hospital University Medical Center in Beirut;
- President of the Lebanese Society of Urology;
- European Board Fellow in Urology;
- Clinical instructor, academic and consultant urologist for 5 years at Klinikum Fichtelgebirg;
- Participated as president, coordinator and lecturer in several conferences on andrology, oncology, bladder and prostate cancer, urology and others;
- Author of +70 scientific research published in international peer-reviewed scientific journals on urology, oncology, bladder and prostate cancer, sexual rehabilitation after radical surgery and regenerative medicine using stem cell therapy.
