Scientific Qualifications

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Arts from the University of Paris in 1985.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Painting & Photography from the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture at the Lebanese University in 1972.
  • Diploma in Advertising Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture in 1989.

Professional Career

  • Lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture – Branch 3 in 1976.
  • Tenured professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture – Branch 3 in 1989.
  • Promoted to the rank of professor in 1996.
  • Head of the Painting & Photography Department at the FFAA - Branch 3 between 1985-1994.
  • One of the founders of the Ten Artists Group in Tripoli.
  • Member of the Lebanese Artists Association for Painters & Sculptors (LAAPS).
  • Member of the General Union of Arab Plastic Artists (GUAPA).
  • Participated in numerous exhibitions inside and outside Lebanon.
  • Winner of several local and international awards for his artistic works.
  • Retired in 2013.
