The Lebanese University among the best in sustainable development according to QS 2026

The Lebanese University was ranked third locally and seventeenth regionally in the field of sustainability, according to the QS – Quacquarelli Symonds report for the year 2026.

 

More than 2,000 universities worldwide, 815 Asian universities, and 7 Lebanese universities were ranked this year. The assessment was based on the Sustainable Development Goals – Agenda 2023 (SDGs) and the role of universities in environmental and social impact and governance.

 

At the end of the ranking, the Lebanese University proved its commitment to achieving sustainable development and education goals, particularly in the field of environmental education and research and in combating the environmental challenges facing Lebanon and the world.
