Joint Master with the University of Lille, France

This one-year program aims to provide students with an in-depth scientific study in two tracks:

1. Geotechnical (research): The “Geotechnical” track prepares students for applied research to pursue doctoral training later.
2. Petroleum structures (professional): The "Petroleum structures" aims to secure specialized Lebanese framework capable of handling and managing the acute problems posed by upstream petroleum activities (drilling, exploration, production, transport and storage).

This specialization is a new path created as a result of the combination of various fields of technology such as renewable energy, electricity, electronics, mechanics and robotics.

It aims to prepare students for independent creative work in the scope of analysis and design of mechanical and electrical equipment, design rules for electronic systems, and industrial automatic control and energy systems.

General conditions + special conditions

• Obtain a bachelor’s degree in Maintenance & Industrial Engineering from the Lebanese University - Faculty of Technology with an average of not less than 60/100;

or

• Obtain a bachelor’s degree in similar specializations from other universities, with an average of not less than 70/100, on condition of obtaining the duly equivalent courses;
• File study
• Oral interview
• Succeed in the Competitive Entrance Exam (CEE)

This specialization aims to prepare specialized resources in the field of geotechnology and the environment who are able to carry out tasks in offices and laboratories for identifying specifications of materials and following up work in research centers.

Teaching courses are divided into three groups:

• Group 1 includes basic theoretical courses
• Group 2 includes courses related to geotechnologies
• Group 3 includes environment related matters
