  • PhD in Educational Sciences from USEK.
  • PhD in Educational Planning & Management from USJ.
  • Master in Educational Planning & Management from the University of London.
  • Diploma in Education from Ain Shams University, Cairo.
  • BA in Education from Al-Azhar University, Cairo.
  • Diploma in English for Educational Purposes from Kent University, UK.

Professional Career

  • Lecturer at the Faculty of Pedagogy in 1995 and at the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences and at the Faculty of Public Health before joining the Institute of Social Sciences.
  • Promoted to the rank of professor in 2020.
  • Director of Institute of Social Sciences – Branch 3 between 2017-2020.
  • Expert and sworn translator pursuant to Decree No. 32 issued on August 2, 1991.
  • Former lecturer at Balamand University, Jinan University, and the Islamic University in Lebanon.
  • Educational planning consultant for the Ministry of Education & Higher Education, the World Bank, and the Educational Center for Research & Development.
  • Author of a number of research papers in Arabic and English on educational planning and management, the reality of public schools in Lebanon, and Islamic-Christian dialogue.
