- PhD in Economics Sociology from the University of Toulouse, France in 1973.
- BA in Economics & Political Science from the Arab University of Beirut in 1970.
Professional Career
- Lecturer at the Institute of Social Sciences - Lebanese University in 1983.
- Director of the Institute of Social Sciences - Branch 3 between 1993-1996.
- Teaching Staff Representative of the ISS and member of the Institute Branch Council between 1993-2003.
- Member of the University Council in 2002.
- Member of the Board of Directors of the LU Professors' Mutual Aid Fund between 1997-2000.
- Contributed to the development of educational curricula at the Institute of Social Sciences.
- Author of a number of books and research papers (through the Research Center at the Institute of Social Sciences and the Lebanese Society for Sociology) on economics, the causes of systemic development, statistics, and the Arab common market.
Passed away on 23 June 2025.
