  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1985.

Professional Career

  • Lecturer at the Faculty of Public Health of the Lebanese University in 1992.
  • Director of the Faculty of Public Health (Branch 3) between 1996-1999 and between 2020-2023.
  • Responsible for the Master of Applied Health Sciences at the Faculty of Public Health (Branch 3) at the Lebanese University.
  • Member of the Quality Assurance Committee at the Faculty of Public Health of the Lebanese University.
  • Member of the laboratory teams of the Faculty of Public Health and its entrance exam committee since 1992.
  • Research fellow at the Health Services Research Unit at Aberdeen University in the UK between 1991 and 1992.
  • Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society in the UK in 1988 and became certified statistician in 1998.
  • Member of the American Statistical Association, member of the Lebanese Epidemiological Society, and the World Epidemiological Society.
  • Author of dozens of published research and scientific papers on health topics, disease activity indicators, anesthesia and drug response criteria, etc.
