- Postgraduate Diploma in History from the Higher School of Arts in Beirut in 1975.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Public Law from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 1971.
- Bachelor in History from the High School of Arts in Beirut in 1970.
- Bachelor of Public Law from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 1968.
- Bachelor in Political Science from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 1968.
Professional Career
- Lecturer at the Faculty of Literature & Human Sciences (FLHS) of the Lebanese University in 1976.
- Director of the Center for Languages & Translation of the FLHS between 2002-2007.
- Supervisor of dozens of PhD dissertations and master theses at the Lebanese University.
- LU representative among French-speaking international universities between 1997-2000.
- Participated in the development of French language curricula for books published by Antoine Library in cooperation with the French Hachette Publishing House.
- Member of the French Association of Ahl al-Qalam in 1995.
- One of the founders of the Youth Movement Club in Beirut in 1962.
- Author of a collection of books on history, literature and education.
- Awarded the French Order of Academic Palms with the rank of Knight in 2005.
Passed away on 19 September 2022.
