Scientific Qualifications

  • PhD in Arts and Arts Sciences from the Doctoral School of Humanities and Social Sciences (DSHSS) at the Lebanese University (LU), in 2013;
  • Master's degree in scenography from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture (FFAA) at the LU, in 2003;
  • Diploma of Advanced Studies in Theater and Cinema from the University of Paris 8, in 1983;
  • Diploma in theater from the FFAA, in 1982.

Professional Career

  • Lecturer at the FFAA, in 1989;
  • Director of the FFAA - Branch 2, between 2015 and 2018;
  • FFAA Faculty Delegate to the LU Council, between 2017 and 2019;
  • Member of the Department of Culture Advisory Committee, between 2002 and 2016;
  • Member of the Program Development Committee at the Department of Education and Higher Education, between 2009 and 2014;
  • Member of the Equivalency Committee at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, between 1983 and 2003;
  • Member of the Curriculum Development Committee at FFAA and member of the Research Institutes Committee for years;
  • Member of the Oriental Thought Committee in Paris, 2001;
  • Author of several books and published articles.
