PhD in Chemistry from the Medical & Technological University of Grenoble - France in 1993;
Postgraduate Diploma in Molecular Chemistry from the Scientific and Medical University of Grenoble - France in 1987;
Diploma in Pharmacy from the National Institute of Higher Education in Medical Sciences - University of Algiers in 1986.

Professional Career

Lecturer at the Faculty of Public Health (Branch 1) in 1993 and the Faculty of Pharmacy in 1994 at the Lebanese University;
Representative of the teaching staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University Council between 2021-2023;
Lecturer at the Faculty of Science (Branch 3) between 1998-2007;
Holder of the rank of Professor in 2012;
Member of the Clinical Pharmacy Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy since 2000;
Member of the clinical research and pharmacoepidemiology team at the Faculty of Pharmacy;
Supervisor of pharmaceutical diploma, master’s theses and doctoral dissertations for Lebanese University students in cooperation with the American University of Beirut (AUB), Saint Joseph University (USJ) and a number of French universities;
Member of the Colloquium Committee of the Ministry of Education & Higher Education since 2000;
Author of dozens of research papers published in international peer-reviewed scientific journals;
Lecturer in local and international medical conferences on clinical pharmacology and pharmacoepidemiology, such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, the effects of antibiotics, bacterial resistance and other topics related to public health.
