The Faculty of Economics & Business Administration seeks to provide theoretical and applied programs with the aim of preparing highly qualified graduates in the fields of economics, finance, business and administration to meet the needs of the local and global market, serve the community, and encourage scientific, knowledge and entrepreneurial research.
This program provides students with the knowledge necessary to become highly skilled researchers in the areas of finance or accounting, auditing, consulting and advisory services to local and international organizations and policy makers.
It also prepares them to critically analyze scientific publications and prepare for doctoral research. It covers seminars in accounting for mergers and acquisitions, systems theory, advanced financial theories, microstructure of financial markets, audit and audit information system, financial models, behavioral economics and valuation of financial derivatives.
First year provided in all branches
Second year provided in Branch 1 (English) and Branch 2 (French)
General conditions + special conditions
First: Admission to the first year
- Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Lebanese University - Faculty of Economics & Business Administration;
- Students of the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration holding a bachelor’s degree in other specializations are allowed to apply for the first year on condition of studying their file;
- Succeeding in the Competitive Entrance Exam (CEE) for students holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from other universities.
Second: Admission to the second year
- All students from inside or outside the faculty holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting are subject to a mandatory CEE.
