Major description

The courses of this program are based on theoretical and applied scientific research in management and marketing, and the curriculum is designed to provide students with specialized skills and tools necessary to analyze and conduct research in management and marketing and to prepare for the PhD.

 

This program is based on the latest developments in theories of the discipline, and covers quantitative and qualitative methods, advanced organizational theories, socially responsible management theories of corporate strategy and governance, management of public organizations, innovation strategy development, customer relationship management, advanced research in marketing, digital strategy and advanced theories in entrepreneurship.

 

First year provided in all branches

Second year provided in Branch 1 (English) and Branch 2 (French)

First: Admission to the first year

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Management or Marketing from the Lebanese University - Faculty of Economics & Business Administration;
• Succeeding in the Competitive Entrance Exam (CEE) for students holding a Bachelor's degree in Management or Marketing from other universities.

 

Second: Admission to the second year

• All students from inside or outside the faculty holding a Bachelor's degree in Management or Marketing are subject to a mandatory CEE.

Major description

This program aims to provide an advanced foundation in economic theories, applied economics, and econometric methods to assist the student in doctoral research, develop theoretical and applied knowledge, and acquire specialized skills to analyze and conduct research in international economics.

 

It covers a series of seminars in International Risk Management, Conflicts and Economic Geopolitics, International Macroeconomics, Applied Econometrics, Global Economic Governance, International Financial Crises, International Monetary System, Macroeconomic Modeling, Multinational Corporations and Monetary Policy Theories.

First: Admission to the first year

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Lebanese University - Faculty of Economics & Business Administration;

Major description

This program provides students with the knowledge necessary to become highly skilled researchers in the areas of finance or accounting, auditing, consulting and advisory services to local and international organizations and policy makers.

 

It also prepares them to critically analyze scientific publications and prepare for doctoral research. It covers seminars in accounting for mergers and acquisitions, systems theory, advanced financial theories, microstructure of financial markets, audit and audit information system, financial models, behavioral economics and valuation of financial derivatives.

First: Admission to the first year

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Lebanese University - Faculty of Economics & Business Administration;
• Students of the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration holding a bachelor’s degree in other specializations are allowed to apply for the first year on condition of studying their file;
• Succeeding in the Competitive Entrance Exam (CEE) for students holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from other universities.

 

Second: Admission to the second year

Major description

Neuroscience aims to understand the functioning of the brain. This program is research-focused on topics of neurodevelopmental biology. It is aimed particularly at those who want to prepare for studies at PhD level, and clinicians who want to broaden their knowledge in neurology, acquire expertise in theoretical and laboratory research methods and train in critical thinking in neuroscience.
