Major description

This master's program enhances students' theoretical and practical skills to understand the behaviors of the visual arts and embody them in visual works (sculpture, painting, photography, etc.) that take into account aesthetic standards through the adaptation of colors, spaces, lines, and more.

 

The program of this specialized track contributes to the formation of a mature and open critical personality in students through the study of plastic arts schools in detail and through research and professional workshops that keep pace with modernity in the field.

 

At the end of this master's program, students are required to submit a research thesis that meets all research standards for discussion by a specialized committee.

Major description

This program includes practical and theoretical courses that deepen students' knowledge and skills acquired during their bachelor's degree and develop their analytical and design abilities through working on general projects (commercial, residential, recreational, tourism, etc.). It also analyzes human behavior to make the study of interior space more appropriate for the required function and respectful of the surrounding environmental and social conditions.

 

This professional master's program culminates in the design and study of a public project based on theory, which is presented by the student for discussion by a specialized committee.

Major description

The education system in this master's program is based on a set of scientific and professional knowledge paths that enable students to delve deeper into the sciences and elements of architectural projects through:

  1. Understanding and producing architectural projects through specialized workshops, defining project data within a specific geographical and social framework, and upgrading the treatment of architectural issues from a guided track to a research track.
  2. Learning the rules of technical engineering sciences and their applications in the architectural construction industry.
  3. In the final semester of this master's program, students undergo a practical training period of no less than six weeks as part of the “professional training” course. They are required to submit a detailed report on their training, in addition to a research report on their graduation project, which will be discussed by a specialized committee.

Major description

In this master's program, students learn about the key acting schools that shaped the 20th century and practice their methods in preparing actors and developing their stage presence.

 

M1 program includes practical courses focused on how to use the main techniques of preparing actors and theoretical courses covering the aesthetics of acting and how to research new issues related thereto.

 

M2 program includes courses on the work of actors in modern and contemporary experiences, while the final graduation project is supposed to be a theatrical work of at least 40 minutes prepared by the student themselves, demonstrating their skills in preparing and directing actors on stage.

 

This program also includes a research component that requires students to write a thesis of at least 70 pages addressing new research issues related to acting.

This major connects students to the Lebanese and international art scene and provides them with the necessary support to deepen their knowledge and develop their independent artistic identity.

 

Modern techniques and media (computer graphics, animation, web design, etc.) form the core of this major, which also includes instruction in traditional tools and languages (drawing, sculpture, stained glass, murals, photography, etc.).
