Major description

This specialized master's degree provides students with scientific, methodological, and technical expertise and foundations in the field of local, regional, and urban planning and development.

 

The professional part of the program includes theoretical courses, seminars, a graduation project, and a three-month full-time professional training period or its equivalent in part-time work.

 

The research part of the program includes theoretical courses and seminars, culminating in a research thesis prepared by the student and discussed before a scientific committee. Students are also required to follow the work of the department's research laboratory and attend the required conferences and seminars.

To be accepted into the Professional Master's Degree in Urban Planning, students should:

• Hold a master's degree in architecture, civil engineering, geography, social sciences, economics, or other fields directly related to urban sciences and professions.
• Pass a written entrance exam.
• Pass an oral interview.

 

To be accepted into the research master's program in urban planning, students should:

• Successfully complete the first year of a professional master's degree in “Urban Planning” or “Landscape and Site Design.”
• Submit a research project approved by the scientific committee at the beginning of the academic year.
• Pass a written entrance exam.

Major description

This specialization allows students to conduct extensive research and delve deeply into the dramatic, functional, and aesthetic dimensions of the overall design project, including the reuse of materials (dramatically) in different ways and perspectives, depending on the required scene and within the context of the "spirit of the text".

 

It also helps students learn about all innovative technical solutions and how to translate them towards the higher goal of the directorial vision (material techniques and their visual effects, their service to the subject, the strength of their connotations, and their capacity to convey multiple concepts and visions).

Major description

The master’s degree in Landscape, Urban and Environmental Design Engineering (MAPE) is a multidisciplinary program focused on professional and research training.

 

The program aims to prepare professionals specializing in landscape engineering, combining theoretical, technical, and practical concepts to understand environmental and spatial dynamics.

 

The program integrates contemporary issues such as the circular economy, green cities, and sponge cities with the use of advanced technological solutions in environmental planning.

At the beginning of the 3rd semester, students begin their graduation project from among the following topics:

Major description

In this master's program, students learn about the key acting schools that shaped the 20th century and practice their methods in preparing actors and developing their stage presence.

 

M1 program includes practical courses focused on how to use the main techniques of preparing actors and theoretical courses covering the aesthetics of acting and how to research new issues related thereto.

 

M2 program includes courses on the work of actors in modern and contemporary experiences, while the final graduation project is supposed to be a theatrical work of at least 40 minutes prepared by the student themselves, demonstrating their skills in preparing and directing actors on stage.

 

This program also includes a research component that requires students to write a thesis of at least 70 pages addressing new research issues related to acting.
