Major description

This master's program is intended for medical specialists and teaching staff seeking to develop their academic skills in clinical research.

 

The program aims to prepare qualified researchers in clinical research methodologies, with a special focus on clinical epidemiological studies. This specialization is an essential step in preparing for PhD research.

Requirements

• Possession of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field

or

• Medical degree (MD)
• Transcript of years of specialization, in addition to proof of completion
• Review of application (CV + motivation letter)
• Professional experience in healthcare
• Fluency in English

• New civil status record or certified copy thereof/or certified copy of ID/for Lebanese students
• Valid residency certified by the Lebanese General Security/for foreign students
• Two certified passport photos
• Stamp worth LBP 50,000

Major description

This program focuses on studying the phenomena of media and communication in the Arab world, publishing media and patterns of information and knowledge flow, especially with the current changes taking place in the media sector. It also raises scientific questions in media and communication sciences through comparative approaches.

 

After completing the first year of a joint master (professional and research) in journalism, students who wish to continue their in-depth education in media and communication sciences are entitled to register in the second year - research master in media and communication sciences (francophone and an Arabic sections), according to conditions determined by the faculty.

 

First year available in Branches 1 and 2

Second year available in the Deanship - Tayyouneh

 

Requirements

General conditions + Special conditions:

• The faculty determines the number of students accepted from the first year of (professional and research) master in order to enroll in the second year - research master in media and communication sciences or in one of the professional paths. If the number of candidates in each track exceeds the required number, a Competitive Entrance Exam (CEE) is conducted after studying their files.
• It is required to obtain a cumulative GPA for the bachelor courses of not less than 3/5 according to the grading scale adopted at the Lebanese University (or 12/20) according to what is currently approved.

This one-year program aims to train students in finding sustainable solutions to problems related to global energy consumption, global warming and air pollution.

 

In this program, students learn about all types of renewable energy (solar energy, wind energy, hydropower, biomass energy, and geothermal energy). Major description

This one-year program includes two tracks:

1. Materials, Process and Technology of composites: Help students to understand concepts of new materials in industrial engineering. The main objective is the study of the formatting and the application environments with a particular analysis of the mechanical and structural characteristics, to provide solutions to problems encountered in materials during their selection, fabrication and service.
2. Computational Mechanics: Help students in the research and development of new products in mechanical engineering, including virtual modeling, physical modeling, simulation and optimization. It aims for students to acquire skills of dealing with the use of mechanics, mathematics and numerical methods in modern engineering for structural calculation applications.
