Major description

This master's program focuses on developing ethical skills to address contemporary health issues and technological developments and to assist in ethical decision-making when approaching individual and collective health dilemmas.

 

This two-year program qualifies professionals and students with degrees in humanities and social sciences, law, economics, medicine, health and life sciences, health engineering and technology, philosophy to practice and conduct research in applied ethics in the health professions. It is part of the education and research training program at the Neuroscience Research Center at the Faculty of Medical Sciences.

  • Possession of Doctorate in Medicine

or

  • Possession a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Transcript of years of specialization, in addition to proof of completion
  • Review of application (Motivation letter + CV + publications)
  • Fluency in French & English

 

Required documents

  • New civil status record or certified copy thereof/or certified copy of ID/for Lebanese students
  • Valid residency certified by the Lebanese General Security/for foreign students
  • Two certified passport photos
  • Stamp worth LBP 50,000

 

Fees
- Lebanese & Palestinian students: LBP 18,235,000 - Foreign students: LBP 100,735,000 - Social Security fee (for Lebanese students): LBP 5,400,000 Note: Fees are payable at Liban Post offices after obtaining a receipt from the faculty

Major description

This master's program is primarily aimed at physicians, executives, nurses, administrators in the health sector, and members of the teaching staff who wish to obtain formal academic training in healthcare management.

 

The program aims to prepare leaders who seek to develop the future of the health sector in Lebanon and the region through innovative academic solutions. The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge and practical application through coursework and field experiences and concludes with a research project addressing a strategic issue in a health organization.

This program is also a suitable preparatory step for admission to PhD programs.
