Major description

This program includes scientific courses and research work with a duration of no less than two years, while the second semester of the second year focuses on preparing and carrying out research work in a time period of not less than four months.

 

At the end of the training, students are required to submit a thesis and discuss it according to the instructions stated in the Faculty Thesis Guide.

The completion of this program provides students with the necessary foundations and expertise in:

1. Hypothesis formulation and research design
2. Analysis, presentation and discussion of the results
3. Development of communication skills and scientific assessment

General + special conditions:

• Holding a degree in Pharmacy from the Lebanese University with an average of at least 14/20;

or

• Holding a degree in Pharmacy from another university with an average of at least 16/20 provided that the theoretical courses are made equivalent to Y1 courses of this Master determined by the Faculty of Pharmacy;

or

• Holding a degree in General Medicine from the Lebanese University with an average of at least 14/20;

or

• First year master’s degree in one of the following specializations, provided that the course “Pharmacology” is among the courses taught: First year Master in Biochemistry, First year Master in Biology, First year Master in Public Health

This program aims to prepare specialists in chemistry and physical chemistry who are able to occupy executive positions in the pharmaceutical, food and biotechnology industries, and interact with other authors from the "Drug Chain" in the field of chemistry and biology.

Major description

This program aims to guide researchers towards the fields of clinical pharmacy, clinical pharmacology, and pharmacoepidemiology, and provide them with data management skills and analysis of clinical and pharmacological studies. This program prepares students for PhD studies in clinical pharmacy and pharmacoepidemiology.

Major description

This program provides deep knowledge in fundamental pharmaceutical sciences and prepares graduates to take on responsibilities associated with various industrial functions such as drug product design, drug quality control and analysis. It also provides advanced practical experience and training in licensed pharmaceutical factories, which provides an opportunity to conduct an in-depth research project as part of an active research group selected by the student.

This Master aims to provide the student with fundamental theoretical, methodological and clinical basis of dermatology and industrial cosmetics, relying on new advanced scientific research in the field of skin biology and cosmetic shapes. It is also concerned with training students at the technical and administrative levels to develop cosmetics, skin pharmaceutical products, testing and counseling.
