The Faculty of Economics & Business Administration seeks to provide theoretical and applied programs with the aim of preparing highly qualified graduates in the fields of economics, finance, business and administration to meet the needs of the local and global market, serve the community, and encourage scientific, knowledge and entrepreneurial research.
This program aims to provide an advanced foundation in economic theories, applied economics, and econometric methods to assist the student in doctoral research, develop theoretical and applied knowledge, and acquire specialized skills to analyze and conduct research in international economics.
It covers a series of seminars in International Risk Management, Conflicts and Economic Geopolitics, International Macroeconomics, Applied Econometrics, Global Economic Governance, International Financial Crises, International Monetary System, Macroeconomic Modeling, Multinational Corporations and Monetary Policy Theories.
First year provided in all branches
Second year provided in Branch 1 (English) and Branch 2 (French)
General conditions + special conditions
First: Admission to the first year
- Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Lebanese University - Faculty of Economics & Business Administration;
- Succeeding in the Competitive Entrance Exam (CEE) for students holding a Bachelor's degree in Economics from other universities.
Second: Admission to the second year
- All students from inside or outside the faculty holding a Bachelor's degree in Economics are subject to a mandatory CEE.
