President Fouad Ayoub issued Decision No. 2306 on 21 October 2021 stipulating the establishment of the Lebanese University Task Force (LUTF) as follows:
Article 1: The Lebanese University Task Force (LUTF) is established at the Lebanese University. It is a cell for volunteers who wish to work to confront the dangers arising from disasters and cooperate or coordinate in the performance of their mission with official, private and civil international authorities working in this field.
Article 2: LUTF consists of four sectors whose members form the central committee. The sectors are the educational sector, the student volunteer sector, the Disaster Rapid Response Sector (RCRT) and the Public Relations and Operations Management.
Article 3: The LUTF Central Committee is composed of the following members:
Dr. Pascal Salameh - Dr. Rola Atwi - Dr. Nazih Bou Chahine - Dr. Ghassan Al-Awar - Dr. Hanadi Saliba - Dr. Soulaima Al-Shamat - Dr. Dima Anani - Dr. Hassan Salameh - Mrs. Lynn Raad - Mr. Rami Rahbani - Mrs. Racha Thebian - Mrs. Carole Derbali.
Article 4: LUTF work is voluntary and does not entail any financial compensation.
