Following the amendment of the name “Institution of Press”, established on 5 December 1967 to become “Faculty of Information and Documentation” on March 24, 1975, the Faculty of Information (Branch 1) was established in Masaytbe, Yazbek Street, and was then relocated in 1980 to Cola, near the Order of Engineers and Architects, UNESCO.
