Based on the decision of the Cabinet adopted in its session held on 24 April 2020 regarding the extension of the general mobilization due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and which consists of gradually opening the sectors, including the Lebanese University within Phase 4, starting from 25 April 2020,
Therefore, and based on the above:
First: All employees are required to resume their work as usual according to the official working hours, as of Wednesday, 27 April 2020, while preserving the standards of public safety, including social distancing and wearing protective masks.
Second: All deans and directors are required to call upon the academic councils, starting from 27 April 2020, to hold meetings to evaluate the forced suspension phase and set up a program to complete the academic year and end all courses (theoretical, practical, directed and clinical), in order to complete the examinations within a maximum period of September 2020, taking into account the interest of students and the status of each Faculty and Branch.
Third: Teaching will be resumed as usual as of Monday, 1 June 2020.
Fourth: The summer vacation for this year is limited to two weeks only, starting from Saturday, 1 August 2020, until Sunday, 16 August 2020.
