Meeting with author Manuel Carcassonne at the FLHS - Branch 2
As part of the activities of the Beirut International Arab Book Fair 2025, the French Language Department at the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences - Branch 2, in collaboration with the AUF and the French Institute of Lebanon (IFL), organized a meeting with writer Manuel Carcassonne.
After speeches by the director of the branch, Dr. Desiree Azzi, and the head of the French Department, Dr. Rana Baroud, writer Manuel Carcassonne discussed difference and the search for identity with professors and students.
The session was moderated by Dr. Hind Rammouz, representative of the faculty, and attended by Ms. Laurence Cossart, Academic and Scientific Cooperation Attaché at the French Institute in Lebanon, Dr. Jeanine Al Chaar, Dean of the FLHS - Branch 3, and Dr. Dora Fenianos, Head of the French Language Department at Branch 3.
