In the context of a collaborative effort between the Lebanese University, USJ, and the Council of Ministers/National Cybersecurity Committee, with the aim of establishing a solid structure for Lebanese national security, a scientific-research article was published in the International Journal of Information Security entitled: “Blockchain-based Multi-Organizational Cyber Risk Management Framework for Collaborative Environments”.

The article is part of the PhD research conducted by student Habib Al-Amin at the Doctoral School of Science & Technology, and was co-written by Dr. Lina Oueidat/National Coordinator for Cybersecurity, Dr. Abdel Latif Samhat, both from the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Maroun Chamoun from USJ and Mr. Antoine Feghali from Potech lab – USJ.

The article focuses the critical need for better cyber risk management, proposes a decentralized framework that uses blockchain to address the issues, and provides a real proof of concept using Hyperledger Fabric, ensuring a promising path to safer cyber protection across diverse sectors, especially for governments.
