Article 1

A Pharmacovigilance Center is hereby created at the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Article 2

The Center shall be responsible for the following tasks:

1- Monitoring the side effects of drugs.

2- Training postgraduate students at the Faculty of Pharmacy (fifth and sixth years) and contributing to the training of pharmacists working in the medical field on the side effects of drugs.

3- Raising awareness among the medical and pharmaceutical professions of the latest advances in the field of drug side effects.

4. Contributing to the improvement of public health in Lebanon.

Article 3

The operation of the Center is governed by a decision of the University Council, on the recommendation of the Faculty Council and with the agreement of the Minister of Education and Higher Education.

Article 4

This decree shall be published and communicated where necessary.
