LU students win top three places in digital competition with AUF
Students from several Lebanese University faculties won the top three places in a digital competition for students in northern Lebanon organized by the Francophone Digital Center of the AUF.
Twelve student teams presented their projects, which were based primarily on cooperation and innovation, under the supervision of specialized trainers. The results were as follows:
First prize – Darsi Fun
An application developed by students from the Faculty of Science - Branch 3 that helps children study with more enjoyment.
Second prize – Zero Waste Network
A project developed by students from the Faculty of Engineering - Branch 1 that integrates AI into supermarkets for early detection of product expiration dates, allowing them to be offered at lower prices before they expire.
Third Prize - Waste X
A mobile app developed by students from the Faculty of Public Health - Branch 3 designed to encourage waste sorting by integrating AI.
