Cultural seminar on ecology and the environment at FLHS - Branch 4
The Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences (FLSH) - Branch 4 organized a cultural seminar on ecology and the environment, attended by a large university audience.
The Branch Director, Dr. Youssef Akouri, gave a long speech on the importance of protecting the environment. Dr. Youssef Kayal, head of the geography department, presented an analytical geographical approach to the active role of humans in preserving the environment.
In the same context, Dr. Naji Kehdy, professor of hydrogeology, explained in detail the importance of a pollution-free environment and the need to preserve water resources.
For her part, Dr. Bahia Al Tachm, seminar coordinator and professor of theoretical and practical moral philosophy in the Department of Philosophy and professor of image semiotics in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, presented a philosophical and ethical strategy to combat the scourge of pollution within the framework of an analytical axiological extrapolation of environmental reality in order to propose effective ecological solutions.
In conclusion, an in-depth debate took place between students and professors.
