Awareness lecture on “breast cancer” at the FEBA - Branch 2
On the occasion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration - Branch 2 organized an awareness lecture presented by Dr. Nagi S. El-Saghir, Professor of Oncology at the AUB and Director of the Breast Cancer Treatment Center at the Naef K. Basile Cancer Institute.
Dr. El-Saghir addressed the importance of early detection of breast cancer and its role in increasing the chances of recovery, emphasizing that self-examination and regular check-ups are the first line of defense against the disease. He also provided a set of practical guidelines for students, urging them to spread a culture of health awareness in their university and family environments and to confront the fear of disease with knowledge and science.
This initiative is part of the faculty's efforts to promote awareness and fulfill its mission of building a health-conscious and socially responsible generation that believes that prevention and knowledge are the path to a healthier and more aware society.
