Article 1

A center called the “Center of Restoration and Conservation of Historical Sites” is established at the Institute of Fine Arts – Branch 3 of the Lebanese University, in addition to the departments and centers that comprise it.

The Center aims to train architects in the restoration and conservation of historic monuments and sites.

Article 2

The duration of studies at the Center, admission requirements, programs, examination system, and the names and categories of diplomas are determined by decision of the University Council, upon recommendation of the Institute Council, with the approval of the Minister of Culture & Higher Education.

Article 3

This decree shall be published and communicated as necessary.
