Following the issuance of Decree No. 699 dated July 18, 2025, setting the official minimum wage for employees and workers subject to the Labor Law and the cost of living allowance.
Based on Memorandum No. 801 dated August 1, 2025 issued by the National Social Security Fund regarding the application of the provisions of the above-mentioned decree, which set the annual contribution of university students for the sickness and maternity branch and for each beneficiary at their expense at LBP 8,400,0000, effective 1 August 2025.
Therefore, all university faculties and branches are requested to adjust the social security contributions of students benefiting from the NSSF services in accordance with the above.
