The Doctoral School prepares students to obtain the Lebanese PhD in science and technology and provides them with research expertise in specialized fields. The Doctoral School is committed to a set of agreements with universities and regional and international institutions concerned with supporting research and scientific studies and securing appropriate process for their implementation.
As Dean of the Doctoral School of Science & Technology at the Lebanese University, it is my pleasure to introduce our institution, which, since its inception in 2007, has been committed to promoting high-quality research in nine faculties: engineering, public health, pharmacy, science, technology, medical sciences, dental medicine, fine arts, architecture and agronomy.
Our mission is to develop a strong culture of scientific research and rigorous, ethical innovation, and we strive to offer our PhD students quality supervision and training, preparing them to become future leaders in the academic, industrial and scientific worlds.
One of our proudest achievements is our strong network of international partnerships, with over 140 partnerships established with prestigious institutions in 13 countries, including over 100 in France alone.
These partnerships enrich our academic environment and offer doctoral students valuable opportunities for international expertise and joint research projects.
The Doctoral School has awarded more than 840 doctorates, 92% of which are joint doctorates, which demonstrates our commitment to working with partners from all over the world.
We are actively working to establish new partnerships with institutions in different countries and to develop areas of research that meet the needs of our country. By combining local and international expertise, we aim to bring about real change in our society.
I invite you to discover our programs, attend our events and participate in our quest for excellence in teaching and research.
