- Bachelor Teaching Degree in Chemistry from the Faculty of Science of the Lebanese University in 1978.
Professional Career
- Lecturer at the Faculty of Science of the Lebanese University in 1986 and Head of the Chemistry Department in Branch 3 between 1991-1993, in 1999 and between 2007-2009;
- Dean of the Doctoral School of Science & Technology of the Lebanese University since 2014;
- Director of the Research Laboratory "Applied Chemistry" at the Faculty of Science (Branch 3) and partner with the Doctoral School of Science & Technology of the Lebanese University since 2008;
- Supervisor of the research team (Applied Chemistry) supported by the Lebanese University between 2009 and 2011;
- Member of the Scientific Research Management Committee at the Doctoral School of Science & Technology of the Lebanese University since 2008;
- Member of the Scientific Council of the AZM Centre for Research in Biotechnology and its applications of the Doctoral School of Science & Technology of the Lebanese University since 2009;
- Member of the committee in charge of chemistry teaching course description at the Faculty of Science according to the BMD curriculum in 2007;
- Member of the Council of Delegates of the Association of Full-Time Professors at the Lebanese University between 1994 and 1998;
- Participant in the arbitration of a number of master research theses in chemistry, and supervisor and rapporteur of PhD dissertations in chemistry between the Lebanese University and universities in France and Spain;
- Author of around 52 scientific papers published in international peer-reviewed scientific journals.
