History
The South Lebanon branches in Saida were established under Decree No. 614 of 11 November 1977 and included 3 faculties: Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences and Institute of Social Sciences.
In 1980, the faculties were separated and an independent director was assigned to the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences.
